Thanks for the video. As a new player to the game I start in single player and straight into the game without setting.. it’s kinda ruined my experience cause Donno how the game work and lose the game without knowing what happening. It’s frustrating. Your tutorial help 👍🏻

Maybe a good way to upgrade outposts a bit is to be able to link them to a city so food production and draft go to the city with some penalty for distance and limit total number per city then there can be upgrades or research that reduces the loss and increases the distance. Maybe push it so far that it's possible to viably do a one city build with lots of outposts.

I love this game, love to see more of it. I like the idea of taking a unit type like archers and just getting tomes to max them out

1:45:20 - Potato, you're just cosplaying Venice. It's not exactly unprecedented, though as a player you can do some insane crap in these games because of how they work. I mean how many times in Civ did you get super early high tech in the 18th century? That said, near-global trade networks do happen, there were some kingdoms in modern day South-India and Indonesia that were quite connected and ofc the Silk Road was a thing. The Americas were not a part of these networks for obvious reasons, but other than that they expanded way across Eurasia and even the horn of Africa

My wish list: 1) FIX THE AI! Seriously Firaxis, make the AI smarter and better, it's embarrassing. 2) LET ME BUILD ROADS! There's nothing more satisfying than building roads in the ancient and classical eras. I don't want trading caravans to do that for me. 3) Allow for the automation of cities or having some sort of vassal system. Seriously, I can't stand late game Civ 6 sometimes when I have 30 cities to manage. 4) Allow us to zoom out and see Borders or something, akin to Paradox games. 5) Rework aircraft combat and actually have space age stuff matter, like actually having satellites, space stations, ICBMs that can be intercepted, etc. 6) Bring verticality to the game, instead of having everything feel like it's all 1 flat plain. 7) Fix the unit pathfinding and allow for armies to move in groups. Seriously, having a large army with many units is SUPER tedious to move around. Moving them individually is a real slog, and sure you can have them move to a specific location, but the pathfinding is horrendous and they'll easily need you to give them a new order constantly.

This shadow/chaos combo is kinda crazy, where you just get ever more damage against units with debuff statuses, and then you can just go back and cherry pick tomes for more debuff unit transformations. I do like this game because there are so many synergies, and you can make so many varieties of an OP build.

I've been playing the new mini-Campaign, you can't become friends with Tyrant's as far as I can tell, this just breaks my mind lol

Loved the playthrough! Would love to see you play a build with tome of Evolution. Slither hatchings are my favorite unit in game when it comes to aesthetics. Altho if they are pretty powerful with mighty meek (from tome of the beacon)

The thing i absolutely love about manually retrying the auto battles, is that all the battles you fight are interesting and atleast have a little threat.

The amount of polish on this game as well as the reasonable priced and consistent upgrades is really impressive. The entire team is doing a great job.

I'm a new player, I've been struggling a lot with deity, I was noticing the same thing. Seems like it just gets way too much for free well into the game. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I've played a bunch of other civs, been playing civ 6 for about 2 weeks, really like the new mechanics it has.

I noticed youre consistently worrying about your city stability. Dark cultures suffer no city stability penalties, except province rebellion - and you have a special structure to prevent that too.

Nice, you really did explore and conquer most of the umbral abyss on this map! I think having all those other neutral style fights in game is fun to go chase down

Eldritch Sovereign is crazy. Go all in on inperium boosts, get scions of evil and umbral disciples. Use imperium to farm population for thrall economy to boost research to hell and back. You can literally just pick and choose your tomes because you blast through them so quickly.

There was so much great information in this video that it should be considered a must watch upon purchasing Civ 6. Thank you.
